    This dataset summarises the government schools that have partial or complete security fencing as of July 2016. ** Data Notes:** * An asterisk (*) denotes schools with partial fencing. * Schools with security fencing report a significant reduction in the number of break and enter and vandalism incidents. The improved security has resulted in school students and local communities having access to better facilities and playing fields. * The NSW Government also has in place contracted 24 hour a day mobile guard patrol services in identified high risk areas and during school holidays. ** Data Source:** * Asset Management Directorate.
